I wanted a backpack that was small, easy to carry, but that also could hold all the things I needed, mainly: laptop, ipod, writing notebook, pens, cell phone, and a few snacks.
The Belkin Slim Backpack was everything I wanted. Being female and 5'4", it is small enough that I can carry it easily. It is also easy to carry around and still maneuver through crowds and put the backpack under conference tables, etc.
It held everything nicely as it has numerous compartments for all your stuff.
I love the little cell phone holder on the shoulder strap. My Blackberry fits in there nicely and is easily accessible.

I love this bag because it really protects my laptop and gives me a lot of pouches for peripherals. I wanted a sleek, modern design, and this captures the design I wanted. I have the black and red bag--the red is actually burgundy in reality. You can't fit a ton of things in the bag, but there's plenty of room for my 15" wide-screen laptop, all my peripherals, and a notebook. They really did a good job of thinking about the pouches and zippered areas, and a small separate canvas bag is provided for the battery. I'd buy this bag again.
